If you are regularly participating in strenuous strength, speed or endurance exercise, then your protein needs may be greater than those recommended for sedentary individuals. Strength conditioning experts encourage increasing your daily protein intake to 2 g/kg of body mass. It is critical that the protein consumed contains high concentrations of the 9 essential amino acids. So for a 75 Kg person, they should aim for 150 gms of protein per day.
